Fixed term for 18 months

Please note this post is only open to employees of Bristol City Council, BANES, South Glos and North Somerset Councils as a fixed term contract / secondment.

If you are an internal employment agency member (you must be working in a current placement) you will be required to take a fixed term contract. If you are a permanent employee of Bristol City Council this would be a secondment opportunity for which you will need your line manager’s approval before applying.

Fixed term to 31 March 2013 – may be extended subject to funding

Bristol City Council, along with the 3 other authorities which make up the West of England (North Somerset, South Gloucestershire and Bath North East Somerset ) have been successful in their bid to the Local Sustainable Transport Fund.

This post will support the Programme team in the delivery of motivating communications and promotional campaigns to engage and encourage behavioural change in the ways people commute across the region. It will also enable the development of project management and budget skills.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong evidence of delivering effective through the line marketing campaigns across a variety of channels (including new media); as well as possessing strong interpersonal skills.
