With Christmas nearly upon us check out the array of festive fun At-Bristol has to offer this December!

Also I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the new PR and Promotions executive for At-Bristol, I will be working alongside Zoë Fox and look forward to meeting you in the future.

Rudolph’s Mission

From the 5 December to the 3 January (excluding the 24-26) keep your eyes peeled for the fantastic winter trail set up around At-Bristol. Pick up your copy of Rudolph’s mission as you enter the building and make your way round the venue trying to decipher and follow the festive clues. All this takes place alongside the exciting At-Bristol exhibits, and we’re throwing in some seasonal surprises so there is plenty to absorb and distract you from your mission along the way!

Christmas Animation

Bored of seeing the same Christmas films on repeat every year? Well At-Bristol is giving you the chance to create your own animation! Starting on the 5 December and running to the 3 January At-Bristol will be holding Christmas themed animation workshops. Our Live Science Team will be on hand to help and give handy hints and tips on how to make a fantastic Father Christmas and make a super snowman then you can make your way to the Animate It! work stations and create your own seasonal film! Why not email them to your friends as a unique and green season’s greeting alternative!

Meet the Food Expert

One of the best things about December and the festive season is the abundance of food and all things yummy- so why not indulge your brain at the same time as At-Bristol invites you to Meet the Food Expert. Authorities in the science and art of food will be on hand to answer your questions and give you food for thought.

Winter night sky Planetarium show:

From 15 December, sit back and discover coloured stars, giant nebulae and how to navigate your way around the winter night sky. You can then leave At-Bristol’s Planetarium and put your new found knowledge to the test every time you look out of your bedroom window or why not wrap up and take a late night stroll through the garden.
